VILLANOVA, Pa. – Junior Jessica Bandy (West Keansburg, N.J.) posted an NCAA qualifying mark in the javelin and the Rutgers women's track and field team currently stands in a four-way tie for 10th place at the 2008 Outdoor BIG EAST Championships in Villanova, Pa. The Scarlet Knights scored 13 points along with Connecticut, Providence and Seton Hall.

Bandy recorded a throw of 142' 11" to earn the fourth-place spot in the javelin and lead the Scarlet Knights.
