Marshall Highlights Orange Charge at Larry Ellis Invite -suathletics.comPublished by
PRINCETON, N.J. � Junior Terry Marshall captured the 110m hurdles crown with an NCAA Regional qualifying time of 13.99 seconds on day two of the Larry Ellis Invitational on Saturday at Princeton. Syracuse posted four ECAC and IC4A qualifying performances, and five finishes that earned invites to the BIG EAST Championship. Marshall becomes the second member of the Orange, and eighth
student-athlete overall, to qualify for the NCAA Regional, held May 30
� 31 at Florida State, at Princeton. Sophomore Dan Busby qualified for the regional in the 5000m run on Friday.
Rookie Lareea Chisholm collected the 200m dash (24.51) title and finished second in the 100m dash (11.91), posting two ECAC-qualifying times.
Senior Keisha Townsend qualified for the ECAC
Championship with a time of 14.36 seconds in the preliminary heat of
the 100m hurdles. She finished third with a BIG EAST-qualifying time of
14.55 seconds in the event�s final.
Junior Skyy Simmons finished third and qualified for the IC4A Championship with a time of 52.60 seconds in the 400m hurdles. Marshall placed 12th with a BIG EAST-qualifying time of 54.42 seconds. Read the full article at: www.suathletics.com
