Track and Field Has Historic Day at ECAC/IC4A Championships :: Hodge wins first IC4A Championship in Stony Brook historyPublished by

Boston, Mass. - Stony Brook's track and field team had their first IC4A champion crowned today, when sophomore Tim Hodge (Tawa, New Zealand) finished first in the 3,000-meter at the ECAC/IC4A Championships in Boston, Massachusetts Saturday. Hodge crossed in a time of 8:04.42, setting a new school record and qualifying provisionally for the NCAA Championships. Senior Dana Hastie (Wellington, New Zealand) had the next-best finish for the Seawolves, placing second in the women's 5,000-meter. Hastie's time of 16:34.96 was also a school record and she improved upon her previous NCAA Championship qualifying time. Read the full article at: goseawolves.cstv.com
