Okay, we admit it. For years we pretended that track-and-field powerhouse Michael Frater was not delicious eye candy. But the 25-year-old hottie has been quietly making an impact - not just on the track, but in the hearts and minds of Jamaican women of all ages, shapes and sizes.

Not that he has to prove anything - having racked up numerous medals and prizes throughout his career - but the 2005 Helsinki World Championship silver medallist is hoping to use 2008 to put all doubts to rest about his athletic ability and promising future in the sport - what with Olympics less than eight months away. But, at the same time, Frater wants his fans to know that he is not just about life in the fast lane as he has hopes of entering law and politics and starting a family after he hangs up his spikes.
