The time is fast approaching when I will be a wheezing, dehydrated mess crawling across the finish line of the Honolulu Marathon on December 10th. So much fun! I'll be running 26.2 miles to save Hawaii's precious reefs by raising money for a worthy cause, Reef Check Hawaii. Reef Check is the world's leading reef health monitoring and education organization. Home to over 85% of the coral reefs in the United States, Hawaii's reef health has declined tremendously since it was first surveyed by Reef Check in 1996.
