I talked about seeing the light at the end of the injury tunnel in my last entry, six weeks ago. I can still see that light. Although there were times it sure seemed to be moving the same pace I was, I am running it down now. It has been an incredibly frustrating spring for me up until this point. I have been around the country, not for racing, but to see specialists trying to figure out why my leg doesn’t work. Finally, through a combination of resources and doing everything everyone told me to do I have figured it out, knock on wood. It has been exciting to watch my teammates compete at meets and get their seasons underway, and almost equally frustrating in not being able to be out there with them. The good news is that I am rapidly approaching 100% and my training has been going well for the minimal things I have been doing. I have still been able to run, just not do much in terms of workouts, although that has changed in the last couple of weeks.
