Hall, Kastor strengthen field in Bolder Boulder - The Denver PostPublished by
The Bolder Boulder has landed the hottest story in American distance running. Californian Ryan Hall, who won the Olympic marathon team trials
in November, has agreed to run the professional team race. Leading the
U.S. women's team will be Deena Kastor, a three-time Bolder Boulder
winner who captured a bronze medal in the marathon at the 2004
Olympics. The combination of Hall and Kastor marks a major coup for the Boulder race. Hall broke the Olympic trials record with a time of 2 hours, 9
minutes, 2 seconds in a race around New York's Central Park. He also
shattered the U.S. record in the half marathon in 2007, becoming the
first American to break one hour for the distance. Read the full article at: origin.denverpost.com
