Track and Field | NBC Olympics | Sunday February 17

After a slow second week in February, action heated up again this weekend domestically and abroad with the Tyson Invitational in Arkansas, the USA Cross-Country Championships in San Diego, and major international track meets in Europe, Australia and Ukraine.

There were a couple records set and several more outstanding performances at the five meets. Here is a recap of the top 10 performances from the weekend, as well as what each effort means as the athletes prepare themselves for Olympic qualification and the Beijing Games.
